I saw one of these yesterday at the rodeo wait lumberyard wait gravel pit wait logging yard umm tractor pull ? cinderblock factory nope grocery store , and had to think, is this the most expensive version of what one might call a “regular” pickup truck these days?? It was massive, it took up more than one space because it physically had to, and it was a diesel (of course) so it was, oh my god, it just looked like a giant pile of ‘murica.

#$%*ing KINJA. Let’s try the picture again.

DENALI HD DUALLY

I love it and hate it equally. I also really wanted to see what he came out of the store with; I was hoping it would be something like a single copy of 8-Lug Magazine.

I'm imagining a F-350 long bed extended cab maroon in color.

F-450 is a thing, too.

So is an F-550 and for a short while you could buy a non-commercial F-650.

My uncle has a $75k F350 Dually Crewcab Diesel. That thing is a monster. It’s like driving a living room. I’ve driven box trucks that felt smaller on the road. He does put like 100k miles per year on it hauling firefighting equipment all over the west coast, so it’s a proper truck even if it has all of the toys and a center console that must be an entire cow’s worth of leather..

F-650...

I once recommended a Honda Ridgeline to someone in “Truck Yeah!” after the reader mentioned they just needed something to go to and from Home Depot/Lowes.

Needless to say, he was not amused.

Agreed, probably a 1 ton of somesort - Ram MegaCab 3500 4x4 is my guess.

I rwally hope it was a CXT/RXT/MXT, F5/650, or a Kodiak/Topkick though.

definitely needs to be at minimum HD. duh. I want to see and drive one first, but I would totally own a Ridgeline for the minimal hauling I would ever need to do.

I laugh at the clueless guys who drive a ginormous truck to help with the “everyday-blue-collar-hero” look he is trying to pull off.

It’s...unnecessary.

This is the anti-truck argument that frustrates me the most. The vast majority of things are unnecessary, especially in the automobile world.

F-650 indeed.

Kinja'd!!!

I wouldn’t be amused either, all you need for home depot runs is a wagon!
